CHARACTERIZED BY HISTORY.
REIMAGINED BY LUXURY.
Located in the heart of downtown Orlando, Samsara is a one of a kind living experience with a mix of historic charm & modern comforts.
A new concept by Developer Mark Kinchla
Built in 1928, the property on 331 Cathcart Ave. is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and still stands as an downtown Orlando landmark. Being slated for demolition on three different occasions and considering the rebounding real estate market, the property's name Samsara is perfectly suiting, which is Sanskrit for "rebirth."
Each townhome will have three and a half stories, an elevator, and a rooftop terrace for magnificent views of the city. Garage doors will have access from East Ridgewood Street. The Kinchlas are salvaging wooden features and pews from the church for use inside the units.
Mark Kinchla, originally from Boston, has done many other projects in Orlando, including the Casa Eola townhomes at Livingston and Cathcart, and the large Lakeside at Delaney condo conversion.
Kinchla bought the church, 331 Cathcart Ave. in June from the Diocese of Orlando, who previously planned to put an auditorium in the building. As a historic renovation, each unit will be eligible for a $50,000 tax credit spread over 10 years.
